Flies & Insects in your Conservatory
Unfortunately, these unwelcome guests will swarm into your conservatory as if they were auditioning for an Alfred Hitchcock film.
It very much seems that many of the things we enjoy also appeal to insects and unless suitable precautions are taken, they can spoil our pleasure, as they certainly would not be first names on any guest list for a picnic, barbecue or whatever.
Magazines, DIY shops, large stores and similar are full of various devices to assist us and some are obviously more efficient or safer, than others.
This can certainly be a case where locking the stable door after the horse has bolted. Once inside your conservatory, they will make an awful mess of the paint work and blinds, you will certainly not want them sharing your food.
Unfortunately, this country is not the best place to find a wide range of specially designed system. However, if you have the opportunity to shop abroad, then you may well enjoy far more success.
HOWEVER, THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU CAN VERY EFFICIENTLY AND ECONOMICALLY KEEP THIS PESTS OUT BY FOLLOWING THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:- SHOP AROUND FOR A GOOD QUALITY BEAD OR NET CURTAIN TO GO OVER THE DOORS. IF THIS NOT COMPLETELY EFFICIENT, THEN A VERY FINE NETTING CAN BE ROLLED ONTO A HEAVY POLE ABOVE THE DOORS SO THAT IT CAN BE LET DOWN WHEN THEY ARE OPEN. WINDOWS CAN BE SIMPLY COVERED WITH A FINE GAUZE OR NETTING AND DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH TIME AND MONEY YOU WISH TO SPEND, AN APPROPRIATE FRAME CAN BE MADE, WHICH WILL IDEALLY CLIP INTO PLACE WHEN THE WINDOW IS OPEN AND CAN BE NEATLY PUT AWAY WHEN NOT IN USE.
IF YOU ARE HAVING A BARBECUE CLOSE TO THE CONSERVATORY, THEN INVEST IN ONE OF THE BLUE HIGH VOLTAGE LIGHTS, WHICH SHOULD BE STRATEGICALLY PLACED JUST OUTSIDE THE CONSERVATORY DOOR AND BARBECUE THE VARMINTS BEFORE THEY START EATING YOU AND YOUR GUESTS.
*A GOOD TIP IS TO SWITCH THIS ON AN HOUR OR SO BEFORE YOUR FRIENDS ARRIVE.
