Orangery in Poole

This older Poole property whilst full of character, had been added to with a rather inappropriate PVCu Lean To Conservatory.

A number of different designs were discussed with our clients and their architect, albeit most importantly one which would be in harmony with the property’s historic features.

It was also important that dimensions were chosen, which fitted appropriately into the recessed area.

Although not Listed, nonetheless high quality Hardwood framing was desired and an Orangery design rather than conventional glazed conservatory. This was also the reason for choosing Sage Green or as sometimes referred to National Trust Green.

Some of the special features and raised lantern are not always included within an Orangery design, nonetheless these were additionally chosen to be in harmony with many changes to be made inside the property.  These in order to re-establish features and design which would have been characteristic of the time when this property was originally constructed.
